The Tour de France 2025 begins with a stage around Lille. This was announced by the organizer ASO. The 185 kilometer long section is followed by two further stages in the north.
On July 6, 2025, it goes from Lauwin-Planque to Boulogne-sur-Mer (290 km), and a day later from Valenciennes to Dunkirk (172 km). The fourth stage starts in Amiens. The full route of the 2025 tour will be published in October 2024.
After three starts abroad, 2025 marks the return home. Last year the tour began in Copenhagen, and the Great Loop started in the Spanish Basque Country on July 1, 2023. Next year the Grand Départ will take place in Florence. In addition, due to the Olympic Games, the tour will for the first time not end in Paris but in Nice.
