One of Sweden’s major attackers end his career in the Park.
Markus Rosenberg as a klublegende for Malmö FF in a crucial match between FC Copenhagen and the swedes to advance from the Europa League.
But the 38-year-old swede could actually have stood in a white shirt. Or it never reached so far, but the FCK-manager Stale Solbakken admits that he at one time considered to download Rosenberg.
“I must be a little careful with what I say. He is probably not interested in that, I must say that he has been current for FCK. It will be a very bad thing to take up now,” said Solbakken and laughs, before he tells of the reflection.
“It would be quite surreal to say that I haven’t talked with his agent, but we have never been in direct dialogue. I think when we talked about it, he was in West Bromwich, where it went a little heavy. I have never been against Markus and talking, so it has only been on the agentniveau.”
Markus rosenberg’s bad time in England is five-six years back and is thus in the world of football a distant past.
It is the noise in the Telia Parken not Thursday night, where FC Copenhagen only need a point to dance on in Europe-the roller after the new year. Here, Markus Rosenberg, however, like to stand in the way of his very last professional football match. And he has previously teased just Stale Solbakken.
“I have had both good and bad experiences with him. We had perhaps the best FCK-experience ever, as he stood on the other half, when we beat Ajax. Personally, I was close to being fired 20 rounds inside the Bundesliga,” says Solbakken and explains what happened.
“In the penultimate battle, I had in the Bundesliga, I was forced to get the points, otherwise I was finished. I am almost sure. Who scored the Mark for the 1-0. But it was 1-1, so I survived the round. But it was just a postponement of it, there waited. And then he scored of course against us later.”
FC Copenhagen and Malmö FF had enough had look at the group’s last match, as the Europa League-the draw was over, and it was clear that there could be an all-or-nothing struggle in the christmas season.
the Winner going on in Europe, but there is little more at stake than the just the joy.
“I will not say that a battle can determine who is the best. But there is extra prestige. When the group was drawn, hoped both Malmö and FCK enough that both teams had a chance to go ahead in the last game,” says Stale Solbakken.
