Donna Kelce is actually a happy woman: The 70-year-old raised two sons, both of whom were able to realize their dream of becoming professional football players. And then both of them had successful careers in this sport. However, the enthusiastic supporter of the two “boys” now has an unexpected problem: Both Jason, 35, and Travis, 33, play for big teams. And these two teams are now facing each other in the final of the Superbowl.

Jason Kelce has been with the Philadelphia Eagles since 2011 and Travis Kelce has been with the Kansas City Chiefs since 2012. Both have been praised for their performance for years: Jason at center, Travis at tight end. But no matter how hard the two try on February 13 – on this day, for countless Americans and football fans worldwide a must watch in front of the television, only one of the two can go home as a winner.

So while millions of people will each be cheering for their favorite team, mom Donna Kelce won’t have an easy time watching. She doesn’t begrudge her two sons the victory, but of course knows that one of them will go home disappointed. “It’s the moment when all your dreams and hopes come true, but it’s also the moment you feared the most,” the 70-year-old was quoted as saying by CNN. “One is going to come out a loser, and neither of them is particularly good at losing.”

In fact, it’s the first time brothers have faced each other in the Superbowl final. There have already been similarly dramatic constellations in other sports: the tennis stars and sisters Venus and Serena Williams have competed against each other several times. Michael and Ralf Schumacher also drove against each other in Formula 1 for different racing teams. Boxing legends Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko always agreed that they never wanted to fight each other.
