The Orlando Magic with the German national basketball players Franz and Moritz Wagner unexpectedly won against NBA leaders Boston Celtics. The 113:98 was the first bankruptcy for the NBA record champion after nine wins in a row. Franz Wagner had 15 points, his older brother Moritz had 5. The best pitcher of the game was Celtics pro Jayson Tatum with 26 points.

The game was also special because of Jonathan Isaac’s comeback after 904 days full of injuries and without playing in the NBA. “It felt so good,” Isaac said. “We have a lot to look forward to.” When he last played for the Magic, most of his current teammates weren’t even on the team.

For the Celtics, who were only able to take the lead around halftime and were never more than five points ahead, the defeat initially has no consequences. The team still has a comfortable four-win lead over the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference.

When Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had been injured for the last five games, returned, the Milwaukee Bucks won a clear 150:130 against the Detroit Pistons. The Greek scored 29 points – he scored the first 20 all in the first quarter, hitting six out of six shots. The Bucks are third in the East.
