National goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer won in the NHL with the Seattle Kraken against a direct competitor and stayed in touch with the playoff places. The Rosenheimer’s team won 4-2 against the Calgary Flames. Grubauer saved a strong 36 of 38 shots on goal.
In the fight for the playoff places, Seattle now has as many points as Calgary, but still has to catch up in order to qualify for the most important phase of the season in the best ice hockey league in the world. The better-placed St. Louis Blues had previously won 2-1 after a penalty shootout against the Philadelphia Flyers.
