HB Køge employ Auri Skarbalius as head coach from the turn of the year and end cooperation with Morten Karlsen with immediate effect.

Auri Skarbalius, who earlier has previously been in HB Køge as both player, assistant coach and head coach, has signed a contract for an initial period of two years.

The 46-year-old Lithuanian, who also has a past in Brøndby, denmark, is among the second two times moved up in the League, respectively, with multiple nations around the world, the Club and HB Køge.

“There are two addresses that are central in my fodboldliv. It is Brondby and Køge. It is here, I have experienced the greatest moments and developed me the most, both fodboldfagligt and human.”

“One must always be careful to return, but I am sure that this is the right one for me.”

HB Køge players meet for the first time after the new year 8. January. There is forårspremiere 1. march away against Vejle Boldklub.
