The German handball players have to do without Paul Drux in their final main round game at the World Cup. The backcourt player has a cold and will be out for the game against Norway in the evening (8.30 p.m. / ARD), as the German Handball Association (DHB) announced shortly before kick-off. It is unclear how long the 27-year-old will be absent.

Drux is the first failure of the DHB selection at the World Cup in Poland and Sweden. The German team has secured their quarter-final ticket before the game against the Norwegians. Opponents in the first knockout round match on Wednesday will be France or Spain.
