Goalkeeper Kathrine Østergaard Larsen switches from FC Nordsjælland to the Swedish club Djurgården.

FC Nordsjællands fodboldkvinder must wave goodbye to the goalkeeper Kathrine Østergaard Larsen.

The 26-year-old keeper has signed a contract with the Stockholm club Djurgarden, which she will represent in 2020. It writes the Swedish club on its website.

– I’m expectant, and it will be exciting to play in a new league. I have of course heard of the civil war, but I do not know so much to the club, she says.

On the Danish national team is Kathrine Larsen reserve for Lars Søndergaards first choice, Katrine Louise Abel. Kathrine Larsen has the heat’s bench several times, and she did also, in november, when Denmark beat Georgia 14-0.

She has previously played two Under 23 internationals and eight U19 matches.

I have played ten ungdomslandskampe, but I aim for a debut on A national team. It is my objective, she says to the Djurgårdens website.

Her new club finished just above the relegation zone in the group have won … in the last season. The Swedish league follows the calendar year as opposed to the Danish. She leaves FC Nordsjælland in third place at the winter break in Gjensidige Kvindeligaen.
