This week the DFB Cup begins its hot phase: the last eight teams will compete against each other in the quarter-finals. After the elimination of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and last year’s winner RB Leipzig, many lower-class teams are hoping for a place in the semi-finals.
A quarter-final will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday – both at 8:45 p.m. As in previous years, the pay TV channel “Sky” will broadcast all games live. In addition, three of the exciting encounters will also be shown on free TV.
This week both games will be free to watch again. The ARD shows the top game between Leverkusen and Kaiserslautern. Tom Bartels will be the commentator. Esther Sedlaczek will moderate the event. Bastian Schweinsteiger is at your side as an expert. ZDF takes over on Wednesday, February 7th and presents the frightening favorites Saarbrücken against Gladbach. The games will be broadcast on linear television as well as in the media libraries of public broadcasters.
