According to media reports, FC Bayern’s record offer for star striker Harry Kane was again turned down at Tottenham Hotspur.

This was reported by the usually well-informed sports portal “The Athletic”. Accordingly, it should have been about a sum in the order of 100 million euros. The English, above all club boss Daniel Levy, apparently have a lot more in mind for their goalscorer.

So the tough competition for the English national team captain goes into the next round. The current offer was reportedly the third overall by the German soccer record champions. The stubborn North Londoners had reportedly already rejected a first offer of 70 million euros and a further one of 80 million euros (each plus bonus payments).

Bayern definitely without Kane in the Supercup

Kane’s signing continues to be a top priority for club management. According to the latest reports, Kane will definitely not be there in Munich’s first competitive game on Saturday in the Supercup against RB Leipzig. Tottenham start the new Premier League season on Sunday. Stood with Kane now.

Last week, the bosses of both clubs met in London for talks. The negotiations ended without an agreement, but the Bavarian delegation led by CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen reportedly returned from England in a positive mood. Now there was apparently the next setback.

Kane still has a contract with Tottenham until the summer of 2024. The Spurs, especially club owner Joe Lewis, are not ready to lose their striker on a free transfer. Lewis had therefore called for an immediate sale of Kane if he refused to sign a new working paper in London. Spurs boss Levy is said to have flown to the United States over the weekend to meet with Lewis.
