The Orlando Magic around the German basketball brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner suffered their fourth consecutive away defeat in the NBA. The Florida team in the North American Basketball League lost 105-110 (59-50) to the Miami Heat.
Moritz Wagner opened the final section with a dunk and gave the Magic a lead of 81:73. Then the guests conceded a 6:19 run and lost momentum. With 20 ball losses, Orlando was prone to errors. Franz Wagner scored 19 points, his brother Moritz scored nine.
Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 141:131 (85:56) away win over the Indiana Pacers with 41 points and twelve rebounds. At the end of the first half, the Bucks led by 33 points, but in the final section the Pacers came within seven points. Antetokounmpo stopped Indiana’s comeback by 16 points in the final quarter. The Greek had received the most votes alongside LeBron James in the All-Star election during the week.
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Toronto Raptors 129-117 (63-62) with a strong final quarter. Superstar Stephen Curry stood out with 35 points and eleven assists.
