Paderborn overcomes mini-crisis

SC Paderborn has overcome its mini-crisis. With the 3:0 (1:0) at Hansa Rostock after two defeats, the league’s strongest attacking team (29 goals) consolidated its third place and is still involved in the promotion battle with two points behind HSV and Darmstadt.

After a superior first half and the lead by Ron Schallenberg (19th), the guests had to defend themselves against improved Rostockers after the break. Two counterattacks by Robert Leipertz (80th) and Marvon Pieringer (8th) removed all doubts about victory.

Braunschweig beats Pauli

Eintracht Braunschweig made a big jump in the table. For the first time since the start of the season, the promoted team left one of the last three places in the table on the eleventh match day with a 2-1 (0-0) win against FC St. Pauli and is temporarily eleventh.

Thanks to substitute Immanuël Pherai (78th, 90th 4) who scored twice, Braunschweig remained undefeated in the fifth game. The situation is very different for Hamburg, who took the lead through Manolis Saliakas (68th). After the seventh unsuccessful game, the Hanseatic League is in crisis.
