The German weather service has issued an official warning against the heat. It is expected in many Parts of the country, a high heat load – it’s only in the South that is currently a few regions, for which there is no heat warning applies. Affected are the following regions:
- Bavaria except upper Bavaria, Swabia and the Allgäu
- Baden-Württemberg – except parts of Swabia
- Berlin
- Brandenburg
- Bremen
- Hamburg
- Hesse
- Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, with the exception of the Baltic sea coast
- lower Saxony
- North Rhine-Westphalia
- Rhineland-Palatinate
- Saarland
- Sachsen
- Sachsen-Anhalt
- Schleswig-Holstein – except the Baltic sea coast
