So, there’s this Orange County judge, Jeffrey Ferguson, who was just found guilty of murdering his wife in their Anaheim Hills home a couple of years back. This 74-year-old dude had a bit too much to drink on August 3, 2023, and decided to grab his Glock .40-caliber handgun and shoot his wife, Sheryl Ferguson, while they were watching “Breaking Bad” with their son.
I mean, why would you do that? Not really sure why this matters, but Ferguson texted his staff to say he lost it and straight up admitted to killing his wife, saying “I did it” in a police interview. His excuse was that it was an accident, like oops, my shoulder slipped, and I shot her. Yeah, he said he wasn’t even mad. Right.
The jury took a day to convict him, and now he’s facing 40 years to life in prison. Oh, and apparently, the fight was all about money and some family drama with Ferguson’s other son. The judge is gonna be removed from his position thanks to this mess. Talk about a wild ride.
