Since the Russian invasion on February 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not left his country. The official statement from the Office of the President of Ukraine laconically states: The aim of the visit is to increase Ukraine’s defense capabilities. But he is much more. During his speech to the US Congress in Washington, Zelenskyy will be given a stage to call for world support for Ukrainians’ heroic resistance to Moscow.
