Putin has just visited Belarus’ President Lukashenko. Is this an indication that Russia is planning another attack on Ukraine from the north? That may very well be the case. But his problem is not only the weakness of the Russian, but also that of the Belarusian army. It too has few people, it’s a very small army. It has suffered a personnel drain since 2020 and is now being filled with Russian personnel to bring it up to normal operational strength. All of which are not very good signs. Then the question arises: what do I want? What can I? Where do I want to go with this army?
