Kerry Kennedy wrote sweetly about her daughter Michaela on Instagram: “She is an inspiration every day, and I know that she will continue to be so after her graduation.”

Kerry Kennedy finally saw her college graduate receive her diploma!

The human rights activist, at 62, celebrated Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo’s graduation from Brown University Monday with a sentimental Instagram carousel.

This photo features Michaela, 24 years old — she graduated in 2020 due to the onset coronavirus. She is smiling in her cap-and-gown. Other photos include Michaela with her friends and her dog. The post ends with a photo of the commencement program for 2020 graduates.

Kennedy wrote that she was proud to have her youngest daughter, the sun-embodied, boisterous, angel Michaela, write. She also added, “She is an everyday inspiration and I know it will continue for many others after graduation.” Brown’s alumni group, and the entire world, is fortunate to have you as part of it.

Michaela expressed her gratitude in the comments section by writing “Aww, I love you !!!!.” “

Michaela, whose father was former Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, shared footage on her Instagram showing her and fellow graduates celebrating at the Ivy League campus.

She wrote, “Delayed Gradification2020” alongside the celebratory post.

Mother-daughter duo have a history of sharing their love on social media.

Kerry shared a snap in February of Michaela and herself enjoying the beach with the sun rising over the horizon.

The picture shows Michaela wearing a longline lavender-colored teddy jacket, black-and white patterned leggings and a plain-white v-neck. Kerry was sporting athleisure which consisted of a red and white zip-up puffer jacket, that hits at the waist, and black bottoms.
