Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had delayed her inaugural visit to Berlin for a long time. When she meets Chancellor Olaf Scholz this Friday, the main focus will be on a burning issue: the unresolved migration issue. Time and time again, Meloni has complained about Germany’s unwillingness to take in a fair share of the people who come across the sea. With the skill she has shown in the first three months of her government, she will now demand support from Scholz.
