Good morning.
Joe Biden has an opportunity to fulfill a campaign promise and strengthen his legacy. Yesterday’s news about Justice Stephen Breyer retiring from the supreme Court.
CNN reports that Biden and Breyer will make a public appearance today in order to officially announce Breyer’s retirement.
Breyer, at 83, is the oldest member the highest court of the country. He is one of six conservatives to outnumber the liberals.
Biden had made it clear that there would be a Black woman at the supreme Court if he were elected president.
