People are dating, getting married and falling in love again on television: to match the spring fever, the channels have a number of dating shows and couple formats to offer.

“The Bachelors” Dennis Gries (30) and Sebastian Klaus (35) have been looking for the right partner at their side since January 17th. For the first time this year, RTL sent two Rosenkavaliers into the race. Both have gathered a group of interested single ladies around them and are going on romantic dates. Who will get the last rose at the end will be revealed in episode ten. The finale and reunion will be shown on RTL on Wednesday, March 20th from 8:15 p.m. (final episode on RTL from March 13th).

Roland Trettl (52) opened the doors of the “First Dates Hotel” again at the beginning of February. The spin-off of the popular dating documentary “First Dates – A Table for Two” entered its fifth season. VOX shows the new episodes every Monday at 8:15 p.m. In the spin-off, the popular TV chef from South Tyrol welcomes his guests not in a restaurant as usual, but in a hotel on Mallorca. There the singles can get to know each other beyond just a dinner date.

In the second season of “Make Love, Fake Love” (since February 20th on RTL), ex-“Bauer sucht Frau” candidate Antonia Hemmer (23) is looking for happiness in love. Yeliz Koc’s successor (30) lives with her potential dream men in a villa in Greece. The catch with “Make Love, Fake Love”: Not all men are actually single. Over the course of the show, the 23-year-old has to find out who is really interested in her and who is only here because of the prize money of 50,000 euros. The girlfriends of the married men are in the know, have given their partners a free pass and are watching in a villa next door.

In March, mothers will once again be looking for the right partner for their child. RTL will show eight new episodes of the cult dating show “Daughter-in-Law Wanted” from March 10th, in the usual Sunday time slot at 7:05 p.m. Presenter Angela Finger-Erben (44), as the successor to Vera Int-Veen (56), will accompany the single women and men, including family support, on their search for love for the first time. In the 15th season, among others, “DSDS” star Claudia (31) and Mama Maria and Mallorca party DJ Christian (36) are looking for love with Mama Gaby.

“Heart on Board – Freshly in Love on the High Seas” is going into a second season (from March 19th on VOX). The dome format once again gives four single women the chance to find true love on board a cruise ship. They go to the Canary Islands and Madeira for two weeks and the women each meet six new men. At the end of each episode they have to choose between two. Anyone who is not convinced has to leave the ship. Moderator Wayne Carpendale (46) supports the singles.

The streaming services also offer shows about love: “Love is Blind” (originally: “Love Is Blind”) entered its sixth season on Netflix in mid-February. In the format, single men and women, this time from Charlotte, North Carolina, venture into a relationship experiment. They get to know each other in dating booths without seeing each other. After falling in love and getting engaged, they meet for the first time. This is followed by a romantic vacation, living together and wedding preparations. Who really says yes at the altar will only be revealed at the end. The series is moderated by Nick (50) and Vanessa Lachey (43). The finale is scheduled to take place in week four and episode twelve on Wednesday, March 6th.
