An 11-month-old boy has come to Denmark from a camp in Syria, where the former IS-fighters and sympathizers are in, what the secretary-general of the Danish Red Cross has described as “hell on earth”.
the Boy is probably adopted by his grandparents, but in the meantime, the raging debate in parliament about what should happen with the other children of the Danish IS fighters and sympathizers in Syria.
the Mood in the Danish policy is bastant dismissive to bring both adults and children from ICE camps.
Several politicians airs also thought about, that the Danish Parliament should take a position in each case – i.e. for each child, bl.a. because it is difficult for them to establish objective criteria for when children need to be downloaded to Denmark.
The adults, a broad majority fight tooth and nail to avoid that purchase. Also, even though the same majority often skoser other countries for not wanting to take their (often criminal) citizens in return.
the Debate is full of statements that all children want the best, and that they didn’t want to leave the conventions, here: human rights, statsløsekonventionen and the uncrc.
An old jounalistisk rule of thumb is that everything before the “ but” in a sentence Mavibet is a lie, and if you use the in these days, there is not strong support for the conventions.
Which also are challenged by statements like “they have turned Denmark back”, “not families” or argues that teenagers are not quite so much children. It is worth noting that the uncrc considers all under the age of 18 years as children.
It is not long ago “children’s minister” said to Godhavnsdrengene, that “it is never the children’s fault” and even aired the possibility of long more excuses out. The apartment was a good sport she is, on “the past, the present and our common future behalf”.
It puzzled me, how she could apologize in the future behalf, but maybe save the ‘ children’s prime minister” simply an excuse to approx. 30 children, a majority in the Parliament will leave in the “hell on earth”, because their parents have turned Denmark back.
It is a political decision with the backing of a majority of the population.
But it is also a decision that shows that the conventions are under extreme pressure in Denmark, and we are ready to chop a heel and cut a toe to get conventions to fit.
