Several people were stabbed Saturday evening in a park in Reading, west of London, and transported to the hospital, according to police, who said that it had arrested a man on the premises. “A number of people were injured and were taken to the hospital,” said local police in a press release.
The police and relief are occurring on the premises after having been called in the early evening for an incident in which several people had been stabbed to Forbury Gardens to 19 local time, according to the same source. The Interior minister Priti Patel said it was “deeply concerned” in a tweet. A security perimeter has been set up on the premises, the police calling on the public to “avoid the area”.
