The morddømte, later acquitted, and now deceased, Ove Hansen, better known as Pedal-Ove, became nationally known after he was convicted for the murder of his wife in 1982 and later acquitted in 1992.
recently raised the interest again on the Pedal-Ove, after TV 2 brought the documentary the Mystery of the Pedal-Ove in three sections. Two sections are already run across the screen, but now has TV 2 has chosen to postpone the third and final section.
the Reason is that the Pedal Ove died on Saturday morning, as Extra-Magazine has reported. In a text message to the B. T. writes the editor Lasse Bjerre:
‘Of regard to the situation we have chosen to postpone the third and final section of the documentary series ‘the Mystery of the Pedal Ove’.’
the Pedal-Ove Retrobet was acquitted of the murder in what was described as ‘the biggest miscarriage of justice’, but the documentary from the TELEVISION 2 re-opened the case and cast doubt on whether the decision was the right one.
the Documentary is made by artist Michael Teschl, as some will remember from the Melody Grand Prixs vindersang ‘This time the si’s, we honestly’ from 1999.
He is also the author of an accompanying book of The day Brita Disappeared, which was released in the beginning of november.
When the TV 2 plan to publish the third and final part of the documentary series, there are not yet reports of.
