The Treasury has concluded with great success the first broadcast syndicated of the year to a rate of interest at historic lows. In particular, the agency that manages the issuance of public debt has received a record demand of more than 53,000 million euros in the obligation syndicated to 10 years, more than 46,500 million of the issue placed a year ago. BBVA, Citi, HSBC, J. P. Morgan, Santander and Société Générale has actúado as the banks coordinators of the operation.
once closed the issuance, the Treasury has managed to capture 10,000 million euros and has done so at an interest rate of 0,509% compared to 0.6% of the broadcast syndicated last summer and of 1.46% from a year ago. In addition to the obligations to 10 years, the agency has placed 5.105 million euros in letters at 6 and 12 months, within the range intended environment, and has done so by charging investors more for the 6-month letras, at the log types to be more negative, but less by the letters at 12 months.
