Around 5: 15 a.m. Monday morning, boulevard de Thibaud in Toulouse, a witness heard two shots. One bullet hit the footballer Christopher Aurier, 26 years old, in the chest. The relief, as soon as defendants, transported the young man to the hospital. Despite intensive care, he was declared deceased shortly after his arrival in the emergency. The judicial police (PJ) has been seized of the investigation by the public prosecutor of Toulouse.

Like his older brother Serge, a former player of RC Lens, PSG and Tottenham, Christopher Aurier is also a footballer. He played the previous year at Chantilly, and transferred to Gueugnon, during the off-season. He had started to Lens team B. His last club complained of his repeated absences. The family Aurier grew up in Seine-Saint-Denis, the parents from the Ivory Coast settled there more than 20 years.
