The famous “world after”, interested also lawyers. The economic crisis and health has changed the profession. It has modified its practices, as modes of private regulation, such as mediation and conferencing, have during the containment replaced the courts ; it will also lead to an influx of cases, as conflicts have increased during the crisis, in particular by labour law or social law. New horizons open for the profession. The lawyers are going to have to adapt, create, better support their customers. “The crisis has exploded with the requirements of law. For the firms that will identify, it will be like discovering an oil well at the bottom of their garden, ” says Thierry Wickers, author of The Great Transformation of lawyers.

It is in this context that The Point has published its second ranking of law firms. Achieved, as by 2019, in partnership with the institute Statista, it is a reward for the fine flower of French practices : 238 of them have been recommended by 4 000 of their colleagues and customers in 26 different specialities (environmental law, family law, social law, mergers and acquisitions, compliance…). To better choose between each firm Statista has, this year, established a hierarchy within each specialty : the best among the firms recommended to obtain a reward of five stars. A kind of praise of the gowns so that opens their ” world after “.
“the Gowns from the Point”
This is a first : in 2020, The Point has chosen to distinguish between law firms that are characterized during the year by their creativity and their uniqueness. We have assembled a panel of lawyers and experts recognized by the profession, chaired by Sandrine Clavel, professor of private law and criminal sciences at the university Paris-Saclay. It deliberated on several occasions to reward four firms : Spinosi-Elderberry, Gide, Morice and Sebban & Associates.
