Declining inflation in the euro area and significant price gains from BASF and Qiagen gave the Dax a slight boost on Tuesday. The leading German index closed with a gain of 0.64 percent to 14,810.34 points. The MDax for medium-sized companies rose by 0.82 percent to 24,040.19 points. Profits were also predominantly recorded across Europe.
