After a friendly start to the year, the Dax recorded further moderate gains on Tuesday. In early trading, the leading German index rose 0.19 percent to 14,096.34 points. The MDax for medium-sized companies rose by 0.71 percent on Tuesday morning to 25,656.30 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 gained 0.26 percent to 3866.10 points.
