The Dax continued its recovery on Friday. The leading German index rose 0.54 percent in early trading to 15,410.38 points after recouping its initial losses and closing moderately positive on Thursday.
The MDax of medium-sized stocks gained 0.94 percent on Friday to 28,714.37 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 went up 0.52 percent.
The Asian stock exchanges had also recorded price gains. Deutsche Bank’s market strategists attributed the good sentiment there to the Caixin PMI for China’s service sector. This was better than expected in February. This news also had a positive impact on the European stock markets.
