The Dax got off to a friendly start in the middle of the week. In the first few minutes of trading, the leading German index rose by 0.72 percent to 14,283.96 points. He is heading towards the third day of winnings in a row. The MDax for medium-sized companies rose by 0.55 percent to 26,058.86 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 gained 0.75 percent to 3911.50 points.

The background to this are certain signs of relaxation with regard to inflation. After the German consumer prices for December showed a further slowdown in inflation from a high level on Tuesday, the French consumer prices and German import prices for November published on Wednesday pointed in the same direction.
