All products from US consumer goods manufacturer Procter have been missing for months
Edeka can already order products from the diaper brand Pampers and the hygiene product brand Always. In addition, Edeka retailers assume that additional categories will soon be available to order, according to the “Lebensmittelzeitung”. Procter confirmed to the trade media
In November 2022 it became known that there had been a dispute between the consumer goods group and Edeka, Rossmann and Budni. The trigger was the group’s planned price increases. The conflict came to a head over the following months, so that Edeka has not had a Procter since spring 2023
Edeka had also clashed with other manufacturers in the past due to increased prices. In 2022 alone, these included disputes and suspended deliveries from Coca-Cola, Mars, Henkel, Beiersdorf, L’Oréal and Unilever.
