She found the man in his life. She lost him. She started her own fashion company. She went bankrupt. She was convicted of drink-driving. She acknowledged his abuse.

She lived. And now she’s dead. 57 years old. Henriette Zobel passed away on Monday evening, and with his death leaves her a life beyond the ordinary.

A life, was covered on the good and evil in the media. A life that wasn’t always picture perfect, but for the most part was, honestly.

the Public’s gaze were at first turned towards the blonde woman, as she began a career as a model. She was tall, slim, elegant and had the most lustrous blue eyes. Photographers in Milan, London and Paris loved her in the 1980s.

In the same decade, she was trained as a designer at Margrethe-School. And she met her indian guru, Gurumayi. More on that later. The above was not the only momentous thing that happened to jetsetteren in the’80s:

It was also the decade where she found one to give her love to: Rigmanden Peter Zobel. She was 25. He was 51.

The two were married – the first time – in 1987. The marriage lasted not more than a year, but it did the love. Therefore thanked the two again agreed to spend the rest of their lives together in 1991. Together they had sons, Alexander and Nicolai.

After 13 years was Henriette and Peter Zobel once again divorced. But not even two marriages and two divorces could get their love to rust.

When Peter Zobel in 2017 went away after several years of struggle against disease, COPD, and referred to she him still as the love of his life:

“I have never tried this kind of grief,” she said, and explained that he could not be compared with the loss of older members of the family, as she had previously been through:

“Peter was the man in my life. I love him. I miss him. He was the most exciting person in the entire world.”

But even though Henriette Zobel in many ways ended up in the media spotlight because of her husband and his entourage, which, among other spoken Erik Brandt and prince Henrik, she was much more than just a wife.

She was in addition to the model designer and trader. In 2001 established the design company Pureheart, and in ten years she made herself relevant on the Danish fashion scene.

“I started Pureheart with the desire to combine business with spirituality, which is managed a long piece along the way,” she has previously stated on forretningseventyret.

the Opinion fell in 2011, in connection with the fairy-tale end. Pureheart had been declared bankrupt, and it sent Henriette Zobel down a bleak path.

the Bankruptcy created a vacuum, and both the depression and fear of death made its entry. With the years she also began to see deep into the bottles, and in 2016 she was taken with a bac of 2.26 behind the wheel.

the Year after, she was at a trial sentenced to both imprisonment and a fine. In the same context, she told the public about his relationship with alcohol. An acquaintance, who had followed her for many years:

“I’m an alcoholic, and I repent and am so unhappy about what happened,” she told the court before she continued:

“For a little over 20 years ago I was in treatment, and there I was sober for 14 years afterwards. It is very fragile, but I have at the same time, need to show you that I know I can’t tolerate alcohol.”

part of her judgment also meant that she had to go in for treatment. Which she did. Anyway she got a relapse. A relapse, she honestly told about.

Relapse, bankruptcies, deaths, ups and downs, despite found Henriette Zobel peace in meditation, yoga, mindfulness and self-development.

Something, she thanked her guru, Gurumayi, whom she met in 1987, and has helped her to find a greater awareness in himself:

“to Think that you bring a strength inside of themselves. It requires daily work, but it’s great to feel it,” she earlier told in an interview with the Magazine Psychology.

Henriette Zobels turbulent life has required its strength. Monday was the last sentence of the set.
