Example: A “green flight” from Frankfurt to Madrid then costs 239 euros instead of 189 in economy class or 129 euros in economy light. The green fare includes baggage, seat reservation and additional status and award miles. Tests in Scandinavia have shown that around two percent of passengers currently buy green tickets.
