From the beginning of 2024, the principle should apply that all property owners must switch to environmentally friendly systems when buying a new heating system. For new buildings in new development areas, the rule applies without exception from the beginning of the year. For existing buildings in residential areas, longer transition periods apply until 2026 and 2028 respectively.
