The mystery of the shoes missing from Zehlendorf is resolved. Flip-flops, sneakers, sneakers : the shoes were disappearing by the dozens for the past several weeks among the inhabitants of this district located at the south-west of Berlin. According to the Tagesspiegel, cited by our colleagues at Ouest France, at least a hundred pairs of shoes have disappeared. Some people fed up had finished by hanging posters in search of the thief, or, at least, of the lost shoe.

It is finally Christian Meyer, an inhabitant of the district, and also the victim of a theft of sneakers, who discovered that dared to venture out among each other in order to complete his collection. In search of a shoe-fly, the young man fell nose to nose with a fox, a shoe to the mouth. In an instant, he manages to take a picture with his smartphone to expose his identity. He then decides to follow him to his den, a place of incredible discovery : a spectacular collection of shoes of all kinds accumulated by the animal.

Several owners were able to find their shoes, but this is not the case of all those who, in recent weeks, had been robbed. West France reminds us that it is increasingly common to see foxes in the city, and even in the big cities. More and more accustomed to human presence, they like to prowl around the garbage cans where they are a sometimes food.
