I have been injecting myself with the weight loss injection with the active ingredient semaglutide for more than four months. I’m doing very well with it, I don’t have any side effects. These days the scales show 16 kilos less. There should be at least that many more. My goal weight is 80 kilograms, 40 kilograms less than four months ago.

The pointer on the scale has been stalling for three weeks, which is making me a little unsettled. Everything has gone so smoothly so far. My weight dropped by one to two kilograms every week. I recently read that after a while the body gets used to the drug and the effects of semaglutide wear off. It remains to be seen whether that is the case for me. At the beginning of January I will switch to the next higher dose, then hopefully my weight will go down further. My path is clear, there is only one direction. Just yesterday I sorted out a whole pile of clothes because they were too big for me. I’ll give her away. I will never wear these tents again. When I’m close to 80 kilograms, I treat myself to a shopping trip – that’s my big motivation.
