The new week with the start of summer can be quite uncomfortable in some places if the temperatures continue to be quite high. On Monday it will initially remain sunny and mostly dry in the south, north-east and extreme west, the German weather service (DWD) in Offenbach said on Sunday. But there are already the first warm thunderstorms in the Alps. In the afternoon there will also be thunderstorms over the low mountain range and parts of northern Germany.
