After hundreds of allegedly wrong corona vaccinations, a family doctor has to answer to the Augsburg district court from Tuesday (9:00 a.m.). The 73-year-old doctor from Wemding (Donau-Ries district) is said to have carried out sham vaccinations in 176 patients in 2021.

The man is said to have disposed of the vaccine and only stuck empty syringes in the buttocks of those who wanted to be vaccinated. The public prosecutor assumes 314 manipulated first and second vaccinations. The defense attorney did not comment on the charges ahead of the trial.

At least 49 cases

In addition, the defendant’s practice is said to have been known as a contact point for citizens who were critical of vaccinations in order to obtain certificates without a real vaccination. According to the indictment, the general practitioner is said to have certified such vaccinations that had not been carried out in at least 49 cases. In the scene, this is said to have been known as “soft vaccination”.

In fact, according to the investigations, there was an even larger number of patients who consciously took advantage of this sham vaccination. Because parallel to the investigations against the family doctor, there were also numerous other criminal investigations against patients.

These processes have already taken place at the district court in Nördlingen. According to the local court, around 80 cases involving around 100 defendants were heard. As a rule, the negotiations ended with fines, according to a court spokeswoman, there were only a few acquittals.

A provisional professional ban has already been imposed on the doctor. The process will consider whether this should be made permanent. The Trial Chamber has scheduled 23 more days of trial. A verdict is expected in November.

In the Friesland district of Lower Saxony, a nurse also manipulated vaccinations during the pandemic. She had raised syringes with saline because she said she broke a vial of vaccine. Six patients received ineffective vaccinations, the sister received a suspended sentence.
