People in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can expect lots of clouds, rain and the occasional bit of sun in the coming days. Wednesday starts overcast, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach. As the day progresses, more cheerful periods are also possible. It stays dry at temperatures of a maximum of three to six degrees. With the exception of the Eifel, no rain falls at night either. However, frost is to be expected at lows of two to minus two degrees. In the second half of the night the temperatures rise slightly again.

There may be some drizzle on Thursday, especially in the north. It stays covered. The maximum values ​​are five to nine degrees. During the night it begins to rain widely. At seven to five degrees it is only slightly cooler than during the day.
