The weather in Bavaria starts after Easter with individual rain showers over the entire Free State. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the maximum temperatures on Tuesday are 9 to 14 degrees. The wind is moderate to fresh. Stormy gusts are to be expected at higher altitudes. It will be temporarily dry on Wednesday night. However, the rain started again during the night.
Wednesday starts very cloudy, often with prolonged rain. In the foothills of the Alps, a few dry sections are to be expected during the course of the day. With highs of 8 to 12 degrees, in the Alps up to 14 degrees, the wind will initially be weak. In the afternoon the wind picks up and strong gusts are possible. During the night the rain will decrease in Franconia, but it will remain cloudy.
On Thursday it will be dry longer between the Main and the Danube. In the rest of Bavaria it is still raining. The German Weather Service expects light snowfall in the Alps. The maximum temperatures are seven to twelve degrees.
