The week starts with showers and wind for the people in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Monday morning that cloud cover and showers could be expected from the morning onwards. A fresh, gusty wind is expected. Strong to stormy south-westerly winds can occur in the mountains, and even severe to hurricane-like squalls are expected on the Brocken and Fichtelberg. Temperatures rise to up to 12 degrees.

On Tuesday night it will remain mostly strong, partly cloudy. According to meteorologists, showers are still expected in some areas. The wind weakens significantly in the second half of the night. Temperatures drop to up to three degrees.
