The importance of our work has increased enormously and we bear great responsibility. We need to empower people to better respond to the impacts of climate change. That’s why we’re constantly modernizing our weather forecasts and warnings, especially before extreme weather events. We also have to explain climate change in an understandable way – for citizens, but also for political decision-makers.
