The new village festival committee team was fine-tuning preparations for the three-day celebration on Friday, June 10, Saturday, and Sunday, June 11. Philippe Causse, the new president, stated that “We are relaunching these convivial and festive meetings.” We want to bring people together at the old station in a positive atmosphere.
The castle’s owners will give a brief guided tour Sunday afternoon to highlight the heritage. The owner explained that the village castle was built on the rampart of the bastide city in 1289.
The festival’s program includes animations and delicacies. In detail, Friday, June 10, at 7 p.m., Queyran aperitif; at 9 p.m., torchlight procession. Saturday, June 11th, 2 p.m. carnival. From 4 to 6 pm, entertainment for children; lotto for rural seniors. At 6:30 p.m. gourmet market with musical entertainment. Fireworks at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, June 12th, 10 a.m. yoga, 11 a.m. Zumba class with Maria, at 12 p.m. braised ham meal upon reservation (06 8929 14 67); at 4:45 p.m. guided tour of the village; and at 7 p.m. mussels, fries, and dessert evening.
