Verdi is negotiating the EVG for around 230,000 employees in rail and bus companies as part of the collective bargaining in the public sector for employees in local public transport and at airports. Negotiations with Deutsche Bahn have so far failed, and the company has criticized threats of strikes. Following the press conference at 3:00 p.m., DB HR Director Martin Seiler also wants to make a statement in Berlin.
