A little boy was born in France on the ICE train from Paris to Stuttgart. Because the mother went into labor during the journey, the train made an unscheduled stop at the TGV station near Metz on Sunday morning, the newspaper Les Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace reported.
Rescue workers helped the woman give birth on the train, which meant that she had to wait 80 minutes in the station for little Félix to see the light of day. The two then went to the hospital in Metz while the train continued its journey.
