A 69-year-old cyclist was hit by a car in Lingen (Emsland district) on Friday afternoon and was seriously injured. According to initial findings, a 29-year-old driver had overlooked the pedelec driver in an intersection, as the police announced on Saturday. The cyclist was taken to a hospital.
