After a fire on the A7, the motorway just behind Bad Fallingbostel (Heidekreis) is completely closed in the south until at least Monday. A trailer loaded with resin solution caught fire on Friday evening. The police in the Heidekreis said that all three lanes caught fire and were significantly damaged.
A significant disruption to traffic must be expected, it said. A diversion now leads south from Soltau and Dorfmark via Platzrandstrasse back to the A7. The police advise people to avoid the full closure as far as possible. Traffic heading north and on the A27 is not affected by the full closure.
