The 100% electric AMI and My AMI Cargo are vehicles designed to meet the specific needs of their potential customers, evolving to better adapt to the uses of individuals and companies. An example is the Lisbon airport, where these quadricycles have been modified by adding solar panels on the roof to make their use even more sustainable from an environmental point of view.
Specifically, My Ami Cargo combines cargo capacity, the functionality of a mobile office and the benefits of electric power: zero CO2 emissions for clean mobility, without polluting emissions and, of course, with very low usage and operating costs. contents. Its compact dimensions allow great freedom of movement and manoeuvrability. With an easy charge, done in just 3 hours from a conventional outlet, they have a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers their 6 kW electric motor. Its maximum autonomy, of 75 kilometres, is perfectly suited to travel in urban and suburban environments, but also to the daily professional operations required inside airports.
Thus, the 11 units of the My AMI Cargo and the 2 units of the AMI acquired by Portway, the first handling company with a license to provide airport infrastructure services in Portugal, are adapted to the daily needs of the company’s operations and have an especially differentiating element. All vehicles have been fitted with a solar panel to make their daily airport management tasks even more environmentally sustainable. This solar panel allows powering the different mobile equipment used, that is, the portable printer and the PDA, as well as the vehicle’s rotaries, in addition to supplying power to 3 220V AC power outlets and 2 USB outlets.
The first units of the Citroën My AMI Cargo, the quadricycle for professional use acquired by Portway as part of the decarbonisation strategy of its fleet of motorized vehicles operating in airport infrastructures, are already operating at Lisbon airport. Porto, Faro and Funchal airports will follow.
