The sale of homes has shot up in Castilla y León by 32.6 percent during the month of February, up to 2,666, which is seven tenths more than the average percentage in Spain, which was 25.6 percent, at reaching 59,272 operations in Spain as a whole, according to the Property Rights Transfers statistics published this Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) and collected by the Ical Agency.

Castilla y León has been the sixth community that has presented a greater annual increase in the number of home sales. Those that presented the greatest annual increases were the Balearic Islands (99.5 percent), the Valencian Community (40.1 percent) and Andalusia (37.1 percent).

For its part, the smallest increases occurred in the Community of Madrid (4.5 percent), Cantabria (6.5 percent) and Galicia (ten percent).
