Ove Hansen, who was better known as Pedal-Ove, was in 1982 conviction for the killing of his estranged wife and was ten years later acquitted, after the DR in a documentary revealed that the man was the victim of a miscarriage of justice.

Poul Hansen, who is the brother of Ove Hansen, confirms the death to Ekstra Bladet.

– It is true. It has been a tough day, ” says Poul Hansen to the newspaper.

He has no further comments on the death of the deceased.
